Texas Retirement Planning

Jeanna Bumpas

Retirement is personal. You’ve spent decades working, saving, and building for the future. As retirement gets closer, the questions often begin to change—from simply growing your savings to determining how to protect what you’ve built, create income you can depend on, manage taxes and market risk, and make sure your money lasts.

My goal is to help you look at the whole picture. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you and build a strategy designed to help you enter retirement with greater clarity, confidence, and a plan for the years ahead.

Jeanna Bumpas

Insurance Broker | Retirement & Wealth Strategist

Retirement planning is about more than numbers on a page. It’s about the life you want those numbers to support.

Jeanna Bumpas is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what they’ve built, create financial confidence, and prepare for the future they envision.

With a background spanning insurance, financial education, and business development, Jeanna helps clients navigate important life and retirement decisions with greater clarity and confidence. Her approach starts with understanding each client’s unique goals, concerns, and priorities before exploring strategies designed to protect assets, create retirement income, preserve wealth, and leave a meaningful legacy.

For Jeanna, this work is personal. As a wife of more than 30 years, mother of four, grandmother, entrepreneur, caregiver to aging parents, and member of the “sandwich generation,” she understands firsthand that planning for retirement rarely happens in a vacuum. Many families are simultaneously preparing for their own future, helping aging parents, supporting children and grandchildren, managing careers or businesses, and trying to enjoy life along the way.

That perspective shapes how Jeanna works with her clients. She believes retirement planning should begin by understanding what you’ve built, what concerns you, what you want retirement to look like, and who and what you want to protect along the way.

In addition to her work in insurance and retirement income planning, Jeanna is a three-time published author, speaker, and former health and wellness coach. She believes true wealth extends beyond finances to include health, relationships, purpose, and the freedom to spend time with the people who matter most.

Today, Jeanna helps clients throughout Texas and beyond with personal and commercial insurance, life insurance, wealth preservation strategies, retirement income planning, and legacy-focused solutions.

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll likely find Jeanna spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, traveling with her husband Chris, volunteering in her community, or making memories with her grandchildren.

Ultimate 401(k) Guide

The 401(k) is one of the most important retirement planning tools we have. You pay into it for decades and will likely rely on it, among other income sources, for many more decades in retirement. The potential tax benefits and power of compound returns can make it a great savings and investment tool for retirement. But to make the most of these accounts requires an informed strategy. There are several important things to know about your 401(k), such as how much you can contribute, options for your 401(k) when you leave your job, and how much you are paying in 401(k) fees.
